David Tredinnick MP attended the Lords Chamber to watch as the Lords passed the Committee stage of his Bill to help make it easier for local authorities to reduce parking charges.
David said, "The next and final stage - the Lords' Third Reading - should be a formality now that Peers have passed the Committee stage.
“I am very hopeful that this Bill can become law perhaps as early as April. Probably only six of thirty Private Members’ Bills in this Parliamentary Session will be passed into law and this bill, aimed at helping councils to boost local town and village centres, may well be the first.”
